I’m not sure why this target campaign is not active in the US. I think it’s funny, but maybe we don’t have the same british sense of humour. You can’t buy the t-shirts in the target uk stores, you have to order them online–from the uk based store.

all the pictures from now (well and the last one) are with my new camera, a refurb 20d. yes i bought a new to me camera that’s nearly 3 years old! still a great camera, and i already have more then 1 lens, and plenty of dust inside from changing lens so much!

this is an old picture but i like the composition, i didn’t realize how nice it looked until i found it while cleaning up an old memory card. i think that’s a nectarine and some plums bought from the farmers market at the ferry building in san francisco.

I don’t like talking about myself, but these were such a PITA to make that i need to get all the mileage I can! I needed a dish for a dinner party last weekend and I wanted something different then my stand-by dip. This chocolate truffle recipe from Alton Brown seemed simple enough, and despite my lack of dessert making experience i gave it shot!
Boy was I wrong, the first steps aren’t too bad, but when it comes to coating them in melted chocolate and then the nuts/coconut, it’s really messy!
My moment of brilliance was making the origami boxes instead of using paper liners. I guess delivery is just as important as substance sometimes. They were a hit at the party! And so was i! 🙂

ok, got back under 10 minute mile pace today, 9:53 and felt pretty good. felt slow at times but a decent kick at the end felt strong. heart rate high throughout.
